Pigmented Lesions:Brown marks such as sunspots or age spots occur in response to sun-induced skin injury and can appear as dark brown spots known as solar lentigines. There can also be diffuse browning of the skin known as actinic bronzing. Pigmented lesions can also be seen on the chest and extremities. Fortunately, we can quick and painlessly remove unwanted pigmented lesions with the Palomar RejuveLux Photofacial. In a few short treatments, brown spots lighten and then disappear. Hours after your initial treatment, the lesions will darken slightly then fade away after about 10-14 days. Each subsequent treatment the darkening is less appreciable as the lesion/s gets lighter and lighter.
